Winners or Losers

This is the most important election of our lives.  We, the people, need to become “winners” – not “losers” by all means.

For the past 2 years now, we have been “winners”.  Most Americans have seen more jobs and better paying jobs being created than ever before.  What is also very different is that they are now having the benefit of choice of jobs – choosing jobs that they like and enjoy working.  Labor statistics now show that there are now more job openings than there are people to fill them.  Unemployment is the lowest it has been in decades.

Not only is a better choice of jobs important to all of us, but so is being paid a fair wage.  Wages went up 3.1% this last quarter – the highest increase in a decade.  It really gives us  piece of mine and heart, when we can work a job of our choice, and be able to take care of our families like we want to do.

We have the holidays coming up very shortly and families will have more money to spend due to the good jobs and wage report, the Trump tax breaks that have been implemented, the 2.8% cost of living for social security recipients (first one since 2012), plus the child tax credit, which now gives parents an extra $1,000 (now $2,000 per dependent child under age 17) when filing their tax return this year.  Earned income credit for lower income families, especially single moms and dads with dependent children, will provide even additional monies available upon filing.  My husband, Ron, is a CPA and an income tax preparer, and knows that all the tax benefits mentioned above have helped families greatly, when tax season rolls around.

Trump has said that there will be an additional tax cut of 10% for the middle class.  However, this will have to be passed by Congress.  Do you know who your Congress man or woman is?  Will they pass this for you?

All of the tax cuts for the people and small businesses will mean more money in your pockets and not more money for the government to spend lining their pockets!

The elections are really for you to vote for the candidates, who are going to do what they say they are going to do FOR YOU!  They get paid to work FOR YOU!  Make sure that you think very strongly about this – give it very serious thought- before you make that very important vote.

If you are a Democrat – what have the Democrats, you have voted for in the past, done for you?  Think about it!  Have you really been better off voting for them?  Be truthful to yourself.

If you are a Republican – same thing – what have the Republicans done for you?  Have you been better off voting for them?  Again – be truthful to yourself.

Will you be a “Winner” or “Loser” – YOUR CHOICE!
